Curriculum Enrichment Programme at Green Oasis
The Secondary School at Green Oasis has changed how it operates its Curriculum Enrichment Programme (CEP) for this academic year.
This has seen CEP’s moved to lunchtime and after school to run alongside our hugely successful sporting and musical programmes. We believe that this will give the students more scope to experience more activities and develop interests over a wider scale while also broadening student horizons. Last week students were asked to select their top 3 CEP choices, and I’m delighted to say that all students are able to attend their 1st choice CEP. Some students are lucky enough to be able to attend all 3 of their choices.
There is a great range of activities this year, Gardening, Charity DIY, Model United Nations, World Scholars Cup, Cricket and a drama group planning to perform the famous play ‘A Christmas Carol’. The teacher’s at GOS have created a buzz amongst the students that we hope will improve their educational experiences at GOS.
Additionally we are able to also announce opportunities for students to work on their homework tasks while in the school environment. During selected lunchtimes and after school there will be a half hour homework session.
