# Festival artwork
Before the Mid-Autumn festival, year 2 students learned about the Mid-Autumn festival in art class. We watched some videos about the legend’s stories and traditional customs of the Mid-Autumn festival. According to the understanding of the festival, students created their own unique artworks, most of them using rabbit and the moon cake, the typical object as the main creative element of the Mid-Autumn festival artwork. Year 2 students spent three weeks completing this artwork, from learning to observe and then to designing, finalizing, and colouring. The Mid-Autumn Festival is a traditional Chinese festival, we hope our children’s artwork could bring happiness to you and your family!
