Extracurricular Activities at GOS

At Green Oasis School, our Extracurricular Activities (ECA) programme gives students meaningful opportunities to explore their interests, develop new skills, build confidence, and connect with others beyond the classroom.

Our ECA programme is closely aligned with the school’s commitment to Global Citizenship and Service Learning. Through a wide range of activities, students are encouraged to develop care for self, care for others, and care for the planet. This means that ECAs are not only about participation and enjoyment, but also about helping students grow as thoughtful, responsible, and engaged members of their community.

In Primary, ECAs provide students with opportunities to discover new talents, collaborate with peers, and develop confidence through creative, physical, academic, and wellbeing-focused activities. These experiences help students build independence, resilience, and a stronger sense of belonging within the school.

In Secondary, the ECA programme includes both teacher-led and student-led activities. This allows students to take greater ownership of their interests, develop leadership skills, and contribute actively to school life. Student-led ECAs also provide an important platform for initiative, collaboration, and service, helping students turn their ideas into meaningful action.

As our programme continues to grow, we are intentionally expanding opportunities linked to community service, environmental action, sustainability, and global citizenship. By doing so, we aim to ensure that our ECA offer reflects a balanced commitment to personal growth, social responsibility, and care for the world around us.

Through ECAs, students at GOS are encouraged to explore who they are, how they connect with others, and how they can make a positive difference.
