Message from Mr. Peter Garnhum - Principal of GOS

Welcome to Green Oasis School, a vibrant and inclusive learning community celebrating 25 years of educational excellence in Shenzhen. As Principal, I am proud to lead a school guided by our vision to “Educate, Nurture, Inspire Excellence.” These three pillars shape everything we do—from the classroom to the wider life of the school—ensuring that every child is supported to achieve their full potential in a safe, happy, and engaging environment. Our school has grown into a well-established international community, grounded in strong values and committed to continuous improvement.

At Green Oasis School, we offer a rich and balanced curriculum based on a modified English National Curriculum for Years 1–9, thoughtfully enhanced through elements of the Chinese National Curriculum. This combination allows our students to benefit from internationally recognised academic standards while developing deep cultural understanding and bilingual proficiency. We are committed to providing a high-quality education that supports not only academic success, but also the social, creative, physical, and intellectual development of every learner, preparing them for the next stages of their education and for life beyond school.
